LIVING GROWN & GRATEFUL

I'm ready to plant a garden.
Sounds funny, I know, talking about planting in November. Everybody knows this is the harvest season.
But when so much is taken away, what do you do?
Grieve? For a season, yes, but not forever.
There's still some growing to do.
Some soil to turn over and fertilize.
One plants.
The other waters.
God provides the increase.
I believe it works. I've seen it work.
So today, I'm planting... planting in the fertile soil of gratitude.
God, we are grateful you are a God we can trust.
Grateful you speak to us and for us.
Thankful you slow us down long enough to whisper your peace in our ears.
We appreciate how what seems to be so little is ever-flowing in your hands.
We honor your sovereignty.
We celebrate your divinity.
How wonderful that we don't have to try and be God. You already are.
You are the God of Our Salvation.
By awesome deeds in righteousness You will answer us, O God of our salvation, You who are the confidence of all the ends of the earth, And of the far-off seas; ~Psalms 65:5 (New King James Version)
You are the God of Our Past, Present, and Future. You're everywhere, all the time.
You are more than we could ask for. More than we will ever need.
The Balm in Gilead.
The Peace at Gilgal.
The Stillness in the Storm.
And with all you do,
you still take the time to
water,
nurture,
prune us so we might bear good fruit.
“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. ~John 15:5
If we take the time to think of you, Father, we will surely thank you.
So, stay close and stay tuned.
It's our turn to remind the world how great you really are.
In the name of your son, Jesus, the True Vine. Amen.
Grownups know it's always a good time to be grateful.
Okay... I planted.
Now, time for you to water.
Brace yourself for the increase.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
May God bless you and keep you
in this season
Were you helped by today's blog? I want to know what you think. And if you were, share it with your friends and family (even your enemies, if you want). We want the world to know that sometimes, it's just gotta be GOD n ME!
In the meantime, take care. Be safe. Look like LOVE.
