For the Peace that Comes with Gratitude

Let the peace of Christ [the inner calm of one who walks daily with Him] be the controlling factor in your hearts [deciding and settling questions that arise]. To this peace indeed you were called as members in one body [of believers]. And be thankful [to God always]. ~Psalms 126:5

What peace we often forfeit, What needless pain we bear,

All because we do not carry everything to you in prayer.

Father God, today we claim more than calm,

more than quiet,

more than rest,

we claim victory.

We claim your perfect peace.

A peace that only comes when our mind,

our hearts,

our hope

is focused on Thee.

For your love is an enduring love.

Your patience is absolute.

Your kindness is complete.

Your goodness is everlasting.

How grateful we are to have Jesus to guide us into your spacious place of peace.

May his light be our peace. Let it greet us when our eyes open and lull us to sleep at night. May the mere thought of your Son make us smile and keep us in a state of gratitude because we know we have a friend in Jesus.

We have peace in Jesus.

We have love in Jesus, joy in Jesus.

Thank you, Lord, for Jesus!

Teach us how to keep our minds stayed on the peace he left for us.

In Him, we claim the victory of perfect peace.

Peace in our homes.

Peace in the world.

Peace in Jerusalem.

May our gratitude be a vehicle for your peace.

In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

There is no better time for peace than now.

Love. Friendships. Family. God is ready to bring peace to every place of chaos in your life.

Join me all week as we embrace the spirit of Thanksgiving as a vehicle for breakthrough in prayer.
