Devotional Reading of "LIFE"

After this his wife Elisabeth became pregnant and for five months remained in seclusion. “The Lord has done this for me,” she said. “in these days he has shown me favor and taken way my disgrace among the people.”

~Luke 1:24-25

_____

(Inspired by Elisabeth, mother of John the Baptist)

There is a reprieve in the air we breathe.

In and out, in and out as a laughing child gliding on an iron-chained swing at a favorite playground.

We swing up and see tops of trees we thought we could reach.

We swing down and build up steam to grab a limb the next time.

Life is a swing. Celebrate the view.

Yes... children still play in innocence.

Birds still fly on Gossamer wings.

Wheat still sways in the breeze.

Hope is still alive.

It stirs up the leaves on the ground underneath our feet to get our attention.

The movement reminds us that there is still much to enjoy and still much to do.

Nothing is allowed to be still on this ride; not even you.

God will lift you from the seat you’ve settled in - and settled for.

So, lean back. Hold on. Go with His flow. Kick your legs up higher to gain more altitude.

The air is different up here. So, BREATHE DEEP then REACH.

This is your higher ground.

You may become more vulnerable to the elements, but you are also a lot closer to destiny.

Take your turn on Life’s swing, and celebrate the view.

_____

When Elisabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. ~Luke 1:41

God is moving. Are you?

Or will you settle for a stalled-out life?

You are a kinetic force, a vibrant being constantly under the construction of the Potter’s hands.

Heaven has made an investment. It’s time to trust the God n You.

What feels barren now may be soil preparing to cultivate new life.

Trust the Master and the process.

Let the flow of GOD take you sky-high, then celebrate the view.
